Ain't No Mountain High Enough

So! I'm going to Climb a Mountain some time in late April, Early May.

Ben Nevis.

Ben is in the background, the one with snow.

Cool name. It's not the biggest Mountain in the World. It will take a day to climb up and down. But its a mountain, and like many that are on the internet I am a lazy bum. I'm not fat, but I certainly wouldn't get away from a persistent Jason Voorhees.

Last time I was in Scotland, I climbed Cow Hill. While not huge I still got to get to the top of something and see a cow.

So I'm going to climb Ben Nevis.

I still need to bodily prepare for it. I'm starting with working out twice daily. I would go outside and walk, but its cold out and I'm not a fan of walking out in the cold.

But aside from that I need to prepare other things.

Firstly are my shoes. I bought a pair of pricey pumas over half a year ago. They're still not broken in. So it means I need proper walking shoes and I must resist the look of pretty shoes.

The Shoes in this picture. Piece of crap shoes.
Second is my level of warmth. It snows at the top of this mountain. I'll need to layer a bunch of my clothing. Less of a concern than I initially thought. Still, something to consider.

Third is the signs I'll bring with me. First is a "Team Michael" Shirt, in support of my best friend's cousin and a public school class mate who lost his fight with brain cancer. She'd like that a lot.

Fourth, what music I will have on my Ipod. If you have any recommendations for mountain climbing/walking, please let me know in the comment section bellow! I have lots of metal and HEAPS of Two Steps from Hell but would love to hear recommendations of individual songs. I will post the final list before I leave.
